Services
Give me a call or send me an email to set up a free 15 minute initial phone consultation to ask any questions and to determine if we’re a good fit.
Our initial phone call is your opportunity to tell me more about what brings you to therapy. During the consultation, I’ll ask you some questions which include information about your situation and needs, as well as about what you're hoping to get out of the therapy experience. Together, we will determine the treatment that best fits your needs and schedule.
Insurance Accepted
Payments and Fees
Full fee payment is expected at the time of service in the form of Cash, Check, Health Savings Account, FSA, Credit, or Debit Card.
Payment Options
If your insurance is not listed I am able to provide you with a “super-bill” statement which you submit to your insurance company to seek potential out-of-network provider reimbursement. To determine exactly what you are eligible to be reimbursed for I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking “what are my out-of-network mental health benefits?”
To process credit cards I utilize IVY PAY, which is a credit card payment system specifically designed for Psychotherapists and their Clients. IVY Pay works with your debit card, credit card, HSA or FSA account. I will send you an invitation text with a charge for your session fee and ask that you use the link to set up your payment method in the system at least 24 hours prior to our first visit. It is quick, easy, HIPAA secure, and completely confidential. For following sessions you will receive a text that indicates a charge has been made to your account and allows you to view your receipt. I will not keep your credit card on file, it will be securely maintained and on file through IVY PAY, so that you can easily pay for any sessions attended or missed without hassle.
Cancellations
I understand that things come up that may interfere with our scheduled session, which is why I practice with flexibility. If something does come up I ask that you contact me 24 hours prior to your scheduled session to cancel and reschedule. Late cancellations, outside of emergencies, are considered within 24 hours of your scheduled session. cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a $70 fee. I will waive the fee if you are able to attend at another time during the same week. Thank you for your understanding.

- Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account - Did you know you can use your Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account to pay for therapy? Similar to a savings account, your HSA/FSA funds are held in a bank or financial institution. You can get access to those funds in several ways. The easiest way to pay for HSA/FSA-eligible mental health expenses is your HSA/FSA card. If you don't have your card handy or prefer to pay by cash or check all health savings account providers have a way for you to submit a receipt for reimbursement.
- Check if your employer has an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). EAP is an employee benefit that typically allows 1-8 sessions and the employer foots the bill for the sessions. If you choose to continue therapy after your approved sessions, only then will you be responsible for payment.
